Design It Forward 2020 Campaign

In the fall of 2020, I, along with other interns at WKU ImageWest, competed in the Design It Forward advertising competition. We were given a creative brief and then had 24 hours to complete a campaign based on the information in that brief, followed by a presentation in front of the judges. Our goal was to create a strategic campaign that would motivate a demographic of our choosing to vote. We chose to target young people who feel as though their vote doesn’t matter, and we created strategies and deliverables that would assist in persuading them that it does. While our group did not place in the competition, Bowling Green mayoral candidate Tom Morris chose to use our social media graphics for his Facebook page, and WKU’s Intercultural Student Engagement Center hung our designs up for display.
