Cherry Creative Websites

WKU Apartments Website

Cherry Creative hosts an annual Housing Fair each spring, and it is WKU Student Publications’ largest source of revenue. With the ongoing pandemic, we had to find a virtual alternative. Our solution: WKUApartments.com. This website allowed us to feature our clients, which were apartment complexes and landlords targeting WKU students, as well as stories from our print special section. We included 360 degree photo walkthroughs and property details on each page, which I worked with my editorial board to build inside of WordPress. Students could also enter in giveaways hosted by our clients throughout Housing Week, which was March 1-5, 2021. This further increased engagement among our audience. The full website is linked below.

Graduate Gallery Website

I worked with our editorial board to put together our online Graduate Gallery for the WKU Fall 2020 graduates. Students were able to purchase pages on our site, which brought in revenue for Cherry Creative. My role, along with another editor, was to build the pages in WordPress once all the materials were ready and then publish them to our site. Pictured above is a sample of one page I built, and more can be found at the website, which is linked below.
